Acquired by Mako's Tackle Supply, Inc. in 1992, the business underwent a transformation, leading to the birth of Betts Fishing Center. Initially housed in a modest retail space on Starkey Rd in 1998, the focus was primarily on rod and reel repair and crafting custom rods.

Since its modest beginnings, Betts Fishing Center has undergone remarkable growth and evolution. From its humble origins, it now proudly occupies its own expansive 6000 square foot building situated at the intersection of Starkey Rd and 126th Ave. Today, Betts remains committed to serving the needs of anglers, offering an extensive selection of top-quality fishing gear and equipment, expert rod and reel repair services, and a wealth of expertise to ensure every angler's success on the water.

Betts now provides comprehensive repair services for Minn Kota Trolling Motors, Rods, Reels, and Shallow Water Anchors, ensuring peace of mind for anglers with reliable support and coverage for their essential fishing equipment.
Betts performs warranty processes in accordance to all manufacture’s policies but handles PENN reel warranties and Minn Kota warranties in house as an authorized warranty center.
